The OEGBMT (Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering) and TU Graz awarded Dr. Gunpreet Oberoi the 2nd Prize for Best Dissertation in the Field of Biomedical Engineering for her Doctoral Thesis titled “Applications of Additive manufacturing in Medicine and Dentistry".
Gunpreet finished her thesis in February 2021, under the supervision of Herman Agis, Francesco Moscato, and mentorship of Ewald Unger. Her interdisciplinary work has formed the basis for additively manufactured simulation models that pave the way to realistic training and treatment planning.
