Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia has been awarded an assistant professor position at Danube Private University (DPU), Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. A new research group "Cancer Research" is being established at the DPU, which will initially focus mainly on cancers in women. The group will be led by a female radiologist, who will transfer from the University of Cambridge to the DPU and Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia and will be supported by representatives from different medical and other scientific disciplines. Currently, cooperations are being established with national and international partner institutions. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia will be the head of image processing and artificial intelligence research in this group.
